The Patrick Motor Group began in 1936, when Merle Patrick opened a small gas station in Worcester, and eventually began selling vehicles from that same station. The Patricks had always had a "family-first" mentality and continue with that mentality today.

As time went on, the Patricks began to acquire different brands to retail, such as Buick, Suzuki, Pontiac, British Leyland, Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen, Subaru, Saab, and most recently, Mazda and Volvo. Merle eventually passed down the business to his two sons, Jimmy and Neil Patrick, who have spent their working lives serving the motor group and its customers. Their sons, Jason and David, also work for the motor group and have been involved in all aspects of the business since they were young. We look forward to many more successful years with Jason and David serving as the operators of the group.

Now in 2023, the Patrick Motor Group is still owned and operated by the Patrick family - and it's often been said that there is "always a Patrick in every dealership." We currently have a Subaru location in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, and Volvo, Volkswagen and Mazda locations on Route 20 in Auburn, Massachusetts.
