I have taken my car to Patrick Motors for in Shrewsbury, MA for a number of years. I have always been pleased with the quality of the work and with the quality of assistance and information I receive from the service department staff. In December, 2008 I took my car there twice for service, I would like to report on the excellent care I received from the wonderful people who work in the service department.
I have serious allergies to chemicals, so I need to be extremely careful what I am exposed to. Every time I call in to make a service appointment, Sally Bousquet writes down the day of my appointment and checks to make sure that there are no scents in the waiting room or offices that I will be sensitive to. I consider myself very fortunate that Sally just considers this standard procedure before my appointment. This is an unusual level of understanding and care---one that I rarely encounter is places of business.
For my second service appointment, I needed a loaner car. I am allergic to many of the plastics used in the interiors of cars, so I have to carefully check them out before I sit in them or touch the steering wheel. Brenda O'Casio was unphased by my unusual needs and arranged for me to go down to the sales department and check out the cars. She then made sure that my loaner car was one that would be safe for me. Again, I was so touched by her willingness to take the time to listen, understand my needs and help me make arrangements that would work for me.
Having expensive car repairs done is stressful and confusing for those of us who understand very little about cars. Mike Thomas spent time carefully and respectfully explaining what my car needed and how much each item would cost. He then took the time to talk with me about how to care for a car that has more than 100,000 miles on it, since this is a new experience for me. I left feeling reassured and knowing more about my car than I had when I started.
In sum, I am grateful to these caring professionals who took the time to listen and understand my special needs. They graciously made accommodations that allowed me to make necessary car repairs and protect my health at the same time. Subaru can be very proud of this dealership. The service team is amazing!

My Review of Patrick Motors:
I would recommend Patrick Subaru of shrewsbury because of their salesperson Tri Le. He was able to answer every question we threw at him. He is not a "typical car salesman." He was not pushy or rude. He was willing to work the numbers over and over again provinding us with many options. He is well versed in all things Subaru. He went out of his way to find the exact car I was looking for, color, manual transmission. He found one in another state, had it brought half way and then picked it up and brought it to Patrick's where I picked it up the same day and drove home!
The car was spotless, with a full tank and warmed up when I went to get in.
All in all I would highly recommend going to see Tri at Patrick's for a Subaru.

I just recently dealt with Luke in the Shrewsbury dealership and could not say enough good things about him and the ease in which I was able to finalize a deal.
I was literally in my car on the way to another dealership when Luke followed up with me about a vehicle that just arrived at your dealership. When I originally came to the Patricks, you did not have the exact vehicle I wanted, but Luke assured me that he would call if it arrived. I had little faith that this would happen, so I continued my search with other dealers. Luke's timing of when he called, could not have been better.
Although the vehicle you had was not exactly what I wanted, and I could have went to another dealer for the exact car I wanted with less miles and a better price, I opted to go with Luke and Patricks because of the way the sale was handled.
I can imagine in your industry that most people only contact dealers to say that they have issues or problems, but from what I can tell about Patricks, it appears that you have an overwhelming amount of customers that want to reach out to you and tell you about the positive experiences they have with your dealerships. That is a true testament to excellence in customer service and I commend you on that. It is unfortunate to say, but it is rare to find excellent customer service in any industry these days, but you have done it.

From your prompt response to schedule a test drive to my ultimate purchase of this vehicle, I have nothing but good things to say. When my husband and I arrived on the morning of Friday, January 2nd for the test drive, we were introduced to Justin who quickly brought the vehicle out for us to view and accompanied us on a test drive. Over the course of about an hour, Justin worked with us to settle on a price that worked for both me and the dealership.
I returned to the dealership two hours later to sign over my trade in and make the payment and the car had been fully detailed.
Justin knew I had to get to another appointment, so he expedited the transfer as best as he could. Personally, I was not looking forward to the conversations that must be had when settling on a price. However, I feel that Justin was a good match to my personality and was very open and honest about how the process works. I even called him last week to follow up on the anticipated receipt of my new registration and he promptly returned my phone call.
The entire experience put me at ease with the car buying process and I will recommend Patrick Subaru and Justin to my family and friends.
On a side note, I contacted another dealership to request a test drive the same day I contacted Patrick and I have still yet to hear back from them. Kudos to you and your team, especially Justin. Last Sunday, my wife and I visited your Subaru dealership in Shrewsbury, MA to test-drive a 2009 Legacy. Upon our arrival we were greeted by John Watt in the Sales Department. From the moment we met John, he conducted himself with the utmost level of professionalism. This is something we have never seen before from a car salesman. All requests and negations went smoothly. I explained my needs and you provided me with CHOICES. You made the transfer SO EASY (because you did all the work). I requested little extras, adjustment for my roof rack and touch up paint, etc. and found them waiting for me on pick up day.

I would just like to take minute to thank you and your service department for the outstanding customer service I received from your location a few weeks ago. I currently own a 1999 Subaru Outback that was diagnosed with 2 head gaskets that needed to be replaced. After having the diagnostic done, my husband and I were at wits end to get the funds together to fix it. You, your team and Subaru went well beyond what was expected of them to help us out. The car is driving wonderfully and it is all because of you.
Both my Husband and I are retail managers and we at still amazed by the wonderful service we received.
